Paul’s history from 12-2001 through 12-2002
Paul was diagnosed with throat cancer on Christmas Eve 2001, and was given 96 hours of chemotherapy and 28 days of radiation in early 2002. On May 31st, 2002, he had radical surgery to his throat, leaving him unable to eat or speak. In December, 2002, He was given 3 to 4 months to live. He was fed by means of a tube inserted into his stomach through his abdominal wall. He was emaciated, weak, and and unable walk or talk.
In January, 2003, His wife Cheryl wrote to me via email to ask for help and started Paul on alternative treatments
I am including Paul’s progress report in Cheryl’s own email letters to me. You will feel along with Cheryl as she struggles to understand and to apply what she learns. You will feel her anguish, her doubt, her resolve, and the depth of her strength and determination as she and her husband valiantly struggle against his cancer.
You will rejoice with her in the victory with no more cancer in his body, and anguish with her as they struggle to repair the devastation done to Paul’s body by surgery and radiation with the extraction of all of his teeth and the replacement of part of a jaw bone.
Following are some of Cheryl’s letters to me.
Please follow the time line. The first group of letters was written in a four day period. Alternative cancer treatments often produce dramatic results in just days, as was it in Paul’s case.
Cheryl, Paul’s wife, wrote over 200 letters to me in a 4 month period. I have selected some of them to tell their story.

Well, we didn’t get very good news. We were told that this is a skull based tumor and there isn’t any hope unless I can find a surgeon. So??? How can the alternative treatment help in this, since the tumor is too large to be operated on? The herbs cannot reduce the size?? What is the benefit with this?? I am not giving up, just figuring out what is going on in the real world.
They did not run a new scan and went from the other data. They are having a meeting on Wednesday to see if Paul falls into ‘protocol’, so I don’t know what else to tell you.

How long did it take you to get rid of the cancer ? Paul and I talked about the situation this morning and we are thinking of having another test scan done and see what it shows. Do you think there would be any difference in the scans with everything he is taking? He has energy, not a ton, but some. He is awake the whole day now and doing things, but this situation also takes a toll on you physically and emotionally. We have been doing this for one month I know things don’t happen overnight but the slightest change of shrinkage or ?? would be positive. We also thought of increasing the amount he is taking do you think that would hurt?
thanx

Boy I have a lot of reading to do tonight . I printed everything out and thought I would read it and figure out which one was the most feasible one for Paul to stay on without him getting discouraged or depressed.
see ya

I have learned the requirements to the colon cleansing, but I have waited until Paul’s weight was up before starting the program. We have a store that has everything right here. Yes it’s expensive, but oh well! The colon cleansing is about $178 and they give me 15% off on everything for cancer. I am really excited about the MGN-3. They gave me several articles and pictures of exactly what does and how long it takes with different situations in early stage cancer, and then with advanced ‘no hope’ cancer. It explodes the cancer cells and and tumors.
It will still take surgery to remove the masses in some areas, ie; debulking Paul’s neck.
Here is what we are taking right now.
Green Barley, (lots).
Digestive enzymes, 15 capsules daily.
Calcium, 10 tablets.
MGN-3 45mg/day (top dosage)
Lots of vegetable juice.
We will move into colon cleansing tomorrow, when I go back to the store and get and read the data on it.
As far as the doctors are concerned, they haven’t called (?). I have an appointment with Paul on Monday for his evaluation from the University of Mn. We have never met the doctor. We are going to request a CT scan or a pet scan before the doctor does any procedures and Paul agrees. They will probably not schedule for 2 weeks, which will give us a little time and also get more MGN-3 and other things into him.
Do you think that the results will be different? Just a little would be good. We could work with that.
I’m sorry that it took so long to catch up on things.
Yes, please update the prayer group and let them know about Monday at 1:45 – for positive things, please.
Thank you for everything

I have received word now that there is no chemo or radiation that will be even tried on Paul since the life increase is only 2-4 months and the side effects are larger.
I have some questions, please bear with me. Will one of these items attack even the tumor or nodule that is in his lung or not? I am getting him ready for the colon cleansing. I ordered a new juicer and everything I needed so everything is coming in here priority mail so I am thinking Saturday that I will have everything.
I meet with his primary doctor and he encourages me to do what I am doing but I am running weary now. just need to get some positive vibes going and I will return in minutes…. This is the doctor we will have set up our scans… I think we are only going through the ct scan now will let you know this afternoon.
thanx

Well I am scared to tell anyone since it might bust the bubble. We went to the doctor yesterday and he gave Paul a physical and then he looked really puzzled. He ask how Paul felt and Paul said fine, better than he has for a while, but he would like to feel a little better. The doctor said there is something funny going on. The masses in his neck should be getting very large with the tumor but he couldn’t feel anything, Paul’s life span was only granted for 4-6 months from December…
We left and before we did we saw the doctor go into his office and get on the phone really puzzled and serious. When we got home about an hour later the doctor called me and said he just got off the phone with Paul’s other doctor and they want to see some tests since he can’t figure it out why his weight is up and his heart beat was good with no probelms with his lung. He has a tumor there and the masses had not grown. The doctor told me whatever I was doing to do it really well til 2/10 at 8:20. That’s when all the scans are being run!!!!
So lets pray that we have made progress and this is not just a mistake.

So what do you think of this Bob? It just puzzles me that this happened. It’s the only good thing to happen since ???? We are doing colon cleansing, liver cleansing and parasite cleansing this week end and I wonder if I should do them all at once??
hope all is well with you

We have had a long talk about going back to the old ways after he is well again and he has vowed to stay this way. He is remembering the bad situation and we have saved stuff to remind us to never go back to the old ways.
I started on the Green Barley yesterday and I am looking to do the cleansing in a week or so.

I got the other enzemes that are for targeting cancer I am trying to figure out how many to give him. I think I will start with normal plus 2 and see how that goes… He is really tired today and his teeth are giving him alot of pain …. He is having surgery tomorrow to have them all removed and then hopefully that pain is gone. Paul had severe radiation and they are all falling apart so he choose to get rid of them…
I have to get off to the hospital, will let you know how it went when I get back.
Well hope to talk to you soon.
Glad to hear you had one of your best weeks…

I keep reading and reading. I have spent the day wondering if Paul is really doing better, but ?? you know how your mind goes. I would really like to see if removing these teeth is going to help. I hope so!!! if so then I really have some more work to do to get him up and adam!! Any ideas? let me know.
How long does it take to regain energy?? Yes I am very pessimistic…

Paul had his teeth taken out but all the items I was giving him had alot of vitamin E so he is bleeding quite a bit. Do you know of something natural that will stop the bleeding ? I will have to take him back in if it doesn’t stop soon.
Hope all is well with you.

I got done with my work on the computer and got up and went downstairs and Paul was mopping our floors and steam cleaning carpet and waxing our marble in the entry way and now he is doing laundry??? I increased his green barley and he has had no problems with it. We have gone through almost a whole container since 2/8 ??
thought this was funny…

There is not a thing undone on our first floor of our house and the main floor is 3200 square feet. I told him to stop and he said he was having fun. The tupperware is all matched.. The plates are all matched in separate stacks ( I haven’t had time I could care less if the plates that are blue and the plates that are green are in the same stack?? that was the least of my worries in the last year.).. He now has a fire going and is ready to watch tv for the evening I hope …
Lets see what tomorrow brings..

Paul went and did the big time grocery shopping today and then put it all away and fixed me dinner and did the dishes and changed the beds. Now he is cleaning our room and making cookies… I will take this as my valentines present I told him I didn’t need
anymore. But that might change he said he doesn’t have problems swallowing anymore if he is not tired???? That just amazes me.. The only thing that maybe bothers me is today he is coughing alot but he says it’s mucus stuck in his throat that could be breaking up ????
thought I would touch base.

Paul and I are just hoping and praying that the tests results prove something positive. That would be a blessing…
Paul is going to his oral surgeon by himself today for the first time. He will go to appt. driving himself a little drive about 20 miles and then asking the right questions.
I hope things are good on Monday since I don’t think they will let us have a pet scan again for awhile due to the cost. It is $5,400 a time.

Got it to slow down …
Did the opposite of what the nurses told me to do and he is almost done bleeding..
I think that is funny..
Paul is doing pretty good, quite bruised, but he waves and smiles when I come into the room. He is braver than I am.

Well, Paul told me tonight that he feels pretty good. We are able to start back with the green barley for starts. I am waiting another day for all the other stuff other than the enzymes since they have vitamin E in them.
We are doing a bunch of cleansing at this house My daughters who are almost 20 came home and said that they wanted to use the detoxifying since they read some stuff that I had printed and laid on the counter.
So my daughters, me, and my mom (she is in great shape other than arthritis), are all doing the cleansing this week end.
well gotta go and get some stuff done.

That is very funny you mentioned acidophilus. My daughter was talking about it today and she said it cures everything and she was all excited about it and she tried to look it up on the internet and couldn’t find anything and I didn’t know what she was talking about til you emailed me and I looked down at her notes next to my computer and that is what she had tried to spell…
We figured out that Paul is taking 12000 mg of barley a day!!!! It has never affected him other than a little bit at the beginning.
Paul’s teeth or no teeth have started up with heavy bleeding again. I know its all the vitamin E in all the things I was giving him. I forgot about that being a blood thinner..
Hope he is okay from this.
Well gotta go and take care of him.
Cheryl

Paul’s bleeding is subsiding again. We hope this one is the final turn. He is refraining from taking all the medications since he is not needing the pain killers. We started giving him the green barley again today and will start the other items back tomorrow.
Thank you for all your help
Cheryl

Finally we have gotten Paul’s gums to stop bleeding entirely!!! Now on with getting him better… He has done so well and I contribute alot of it to the herbs I have been giving him. He is in good spirits but wants to jump back on the herbs and things and get where he was again so we might move the scans out another week. He says he is feeling fine other than some pain which we expect but he has not been taking the pain killers and they gave us enough for 7 days.. So that to me is a good sign .
He just amazes me with his power to keep going to better himself and to get through things. I keep telling him he is my trooper !!!
So we are excited again to get on the herbs and to get things going in the right direction again. He is starting off fasting since he can’t eat anyway. He is on the all juice diet. He started that today he said I can’t eat so why not. So we will do that for awhile, don’t know how long but that should be a good start.
take care
Cheryl
The following is a portion of a letter that I received from Cheryl on Sun., 23 Nov 2003 14:02:47 EST. They live in Minnesota, which is in northern USA, where they received 15 inches of snow overnight.
Paul is heading out to snowplow with the John Deere. Watch him do the whole neighborhood! He is like a kid in a candy store lately… His voice got really strong so he won’t shut up. He kept me up last night til like 11:30. I do not stay up that late at all… Then at 5:30 this morning he started his ‘chatty kathy’ stuff again, that is what we call him now… even if he does not have anything to say he still babbles…. It is very funny and nice to know how happy he is .. He weighed in at 130 pounds yesterday. That is what he weighed when he was diagnosed.. His normal weight is 157, so he has some way to go, but he is up 40 pounds from this time last year… Remember those days… I don’t ….
Well, take care…

As of the first of February 2004, Paul requires some corrective surgeries to restore the damage done by his previous procedures, but he is still cancer free and is scheduled for only once a year follow-up visits to the doctor.
