Information About Mesothelioma and Asbestos

Mesothelioma, ‘asbestos cancer’, develops to advanced stages before symptoms are presented, and as with other cancers, the later the diagnosis, the poorer the prognosis. Mesothelioma patients seldom live more than one year after diagnosis. Obviously, early diagnosis could extend lives by allowing for earlier and more effective intervention.

Not everyone exposed to asbestos develops mesothelioma, of course. One reason for this is that some people have immune systems that fight harder than others. Strengthening the immune system can deliver a patient from cancer. Alternative cancer treatment specialists say that cancer is always the result of an immune system that has quit. Otherwise, the cancer would have been destroyed before it developed to a state where it presented clinical evidence. Smoking increases the risk of developing mesothelioma. According to The National Cancer Institute, the risk of developing mesothelioma is reduced by 50% if the patient has quit smoking for 5 years.

There is no data available on the success of alternative intervention of mesothelioma because only 5000 cases of this disease are present in the US. Still, it is logical to assume that a strong program to strengthen the immune system would be in order. Please read the other articles on this site relating to strengthening the immune system to fight cancer.

Early detection may be had by using the AMAS test. This is a non-specific cancer test that is 99% accurate with 95% sensitivity. The AMAS test is able to detect cancer up to 19 months before it is clinically evident. This makes it to be an effective tool in the early detection and management of cancer. This is a much more accurate test than a PAP test to a PSA test which averages to be about 45% accurate with false positives and negatives. You may call 800-9catest for a free AMAS test kit and information. Information on AMAS testing is available on many internet sites. Below is one of them.

Neither alternative cancer treatments or AMAS testing are accepted by conventional medical practice, even though that AMAS test was approved by the FDA in 1977 and is compensated my Medicare. It therefore becomes the opportunity and responsibility of individuals who are concerned about mesothelioma to intercede in their own behalf.

If I suspected mesothelioma I would immediately have an AMAS test and undertake a strong program to strengthen my immune system. Subsequent testing would reveal the progress of treatment even though there may be no clinical evidence of the disease. Even casual exposure such as being near the clothing of one who worked with asbestos has been enough to cause mesothelioma. If you have been exposed to asbestos, even 50 years ago, in would be prudent to exercise this option.

I am a survivor of an extensive and ‘incurable’ cancer. In 1996, I was dismissed by conventional medicine and left on my own. I discovered the world of alternative cancer treatments, a world that I didn’t know existed. In just 10 days from the start of treatment, I was symptom free. Usually the time is longer than that taking two months or so for those who are able to apply an effective treatment to achieve full remission. I was a fortunate exception. Since that time I have devoted my time and resources to finding and offering safe, effective and inexpensive alternative cancer treatments. Please visit my website at http://www.cancersuccess.org.

About Bob Davis

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bob Davis and I am a retired engineer who did some work in various medical projects, but not as a doctor or other medical practitioner. In April 1996, I was admitted to the hospital as an outpatient for an x-ray. It was found that I had massive cancer. I had a mass in my abdomen a foot wide and several inches thick. Further, I had several masses in my chest, some of them “the size of soft balls”. It was also determined that I had cancer in my bone marrow. I asked my doctor what we were going to do. He said, “Try……….something else” What did I do? For three weeks I went on a juice fast and colon cleanse program. I am eager to share information on cancer treatment and general health issues. I do occasionally speak at meetings on several related subjects. My favorite subject is ENZYMES!!!
